Our Process Step 1 First meeting – Our first meeting will entail a visit to your home by the owner of the company where we will discuss the project. We will discuss your wants and needs for the space in your home. We will take notes, as well as, give you design suggestions based on our prior knowledge of home building and master builder background. During this meeting we will also discuss budget as it is important for us to stay as close to, or under your budget, if possible. Step 2 Estimate – JR Home Improvement will provide you with a free estimate based on our first visit. We will work to make sure that within the budget we leave a little room in case we find something unexpected in your home. We do not like change orders, so we hope that the room we leave in the estimate allows for us to fix anything unforeseen. Step 3 Contract Signing – Once the estimate is sent out and agreed upon, you let us know if this is something you would like to pursue. We do not have sales people calling you, we expect that the customer will call us if they would like to move forward. Once we get the phone call at JR Home Improvement, we will come back out to your home to discuss the contract, and get paper work signed. At this time, we will provide you with an estimated start date and length of the project. Step 4 Meeting with Client to Select Materials – JR Home Improvement and Remodeling wants to make sure you are comfortable with the remodeling process. We like to meet our clients at supplier locations to select tile, hardware, granite and other materials. We like to help on the design aspect whether it be a 3D rendering so you can envision your project, or helping with palate ideas. Step 5 Project Start – Your project will begin on the scheduled date as decided on from the contract. If permits, or drawings are necessary they will be pulled and ready to go. You will see the owner of the company on your job site often, not just stopping by, but also lending a hand and working the construction job. The project will move in a timely fashion, and continue through until finished. Step 6 Punch Out List – You will be given two punch out lists to be completed at the end of the remodel. A punch out list allows for you to live in the space for longer period of time, and see if you would like for JR Home Improvement to come back into your home to do any touch ups. One is completed right after the project’s completion, one is completed two weeks to month after completion. Step 7 Completion – At this time all punch out lists have been completed. The project is also final and you are able to enjoy your gorgeous new space.
